Saša Bubalo has started none of Nürnberg's last two
Six starts in seven, then none in two: Saša Bubalo's place in the 1. FC Nürnberg defence has gone to Vincent Marechal, and no injury explains it.

Six. That is how many of Nürnberg's seven games before this cycle Saša Bubalo began at centre-back. In the two since, he has begun none: a substitute twice, out of the squad never. No injury is on the sheet.
In his slot stands Vincent Marechal, 25, signed from 1. FC Köln in July 2062 for £1.8m, averaging 6.78. Nürnberg drew both games 1-1. The team sheet is the whole story, and it is a plain one: the younger man watches, the older one plays.
