Chelsea lose Júnior for four weeks with calf strain
The right winger is expected to return around 22 September after suffering the injury on 25 August.

Chelsea’s bid to keep their title-winning side moving has taken an early-season blow: Júnior is expected to miss two club games with a calf strain. The Brazilian right winger was injured on 25 August, and medical staff estimate he will be back around 22 September — a target, not a guarantee.
Júnior has yet to feature this season, but Chelsea lose a proven force on the right as they begin their campaign. His 336 club goals and long service were celebrated in this paper last month; now the task is to manage without him for the weeks ahead.
