Valencia have landed Madson for £17.7m—and Zaragoza have lost another player to a Spanish rival. The Brazilian moves from the Second Division club to Valencia, where the deal brings fresh intrigue to a summer already marked by movement between these sides of Spain’s football divide.
Madson joins a Valencia side that has also brought in Matías Pérez, while Zaragoza saw José Miguel depart for Barcelona on 7 August. Three moves, three different turns of the market’s capote; for Madson, the next dance begins in Valencia colours.
