37 Points, Zero Defeats: Chelsea Bring the Storm to West Ham
West Ham's Samuel is scoring for fun, but the champions arrive unbeaten in 13 and a derby needs a hero — and an old boy, Maurício, is back in blue.
Samuel's hat-trick against Manchester United is still ringing round the London Stadium, and on Saturday the Brazilian gets the champions. West Ham sit 12th on 16 points, exactly where their chances say they should be, and they will need every bit of the striker's 7.74 average over his last five games.
Chelsea have 37 points from 13, five more than their chances deserved, and go into the derby unbeaten all season. Nacho Valera, who scored twice the last time these two met, is out with a torn hamstring. The old Hammer Maurício is back in blue. Watch Roberto Baggio's pace against Mauricio Martelli at left-back, and Vedat Dogan's leap against Jassem Abdulla's 190cm frame. West Ham need the points; Chelsea need to keep the run alive.
