"It is a blow we have to absorb"
Freiburg lose centre-back Brandón Salgado to a hip injury for roughly 66 days, eight games and the turn of the year.

Freiburg's medical staff put a hip injury at about 66 days, which would bring Brandón Salgado back around 2 January. He was hurt on 28 October. Eight club games go by without him.
The centre-back has played all ten of Freiburg's games this season and scored once. Losing a settled defender for that stretch costs the side its shape at the back and any continuity there, and the return date is an estimate, not a promise.
"It is a blow we have to absorb," the club said. Freiburg will absorb it with whoever is left.
