At Gaywood Park, the crowd had plenty to celebrate as Paul Grant took centre stage in Kings Langley’s 4-0 English FA Cup win over Spennymoor Town. He scored twice, made an assist and finished with four key passes and four dribbles, earning a 10.0 rating after playing all 90 minutes.
James Jones also scored twice and supplied an assist, but Grant’s display set the tone for a commanding afternoon: Kings Langley had 18 shots, 11 on target and 54 per cent possession. For a little-known club, this was a performance with real cup authority.
