Juventus Sell González to Fortuna for £5m
Nicolás González has left Juventus for Fortuna Sittard, where he joins a crowded central-midfield contest.

Italian football’s influence travels with its players, but every departure from Juventus deserves scrutiny: control in midfield is built on reliable choices, not reputation alone. González completed a £5.0m move to Fortuna Sittard on 23 August.
The 31-year-old central midfielder now competes with Ringo Voermans, Vilyson Sumter and Mikki van Seumeren, all regular league starters across the past two seasons. Fortuna have also brought in Agustín Palmieri for a club-record fee, while former Juventus player Boris Fredéus offers another link between the clubs. González arrives with a fight for minutes ahead; the fee alone will not settle it.
