Quiet spending? Not at Bournemouth! The Championship club have fired out £43.9m on three players, the biggest total in the league. Alex Waiswa leads the charge, arriving from Fulham for a £24m bombshell, with Michael Okechukwu joining from Mallorca for £16m and Áron Forna returning from AC Milan for £3.9m.
Forna’s move brings him back to a former club, while Waiswa’s deal is another headline arrival on a day of big business. Bournemouth have made their spending statement loud and clear: three new faces, and the league’s top bill.
