**£20.9m is the bombshell as FC CFR 1907 Cluj bring Wilson in from Fulham!** The 31-year-old centre-back completed the move on 27 August, giving Cluj cover while Romeo Matei is out until about 4 September.
Matei started 31 league games across the last two seasons, while Florin Chirilă made 20 starts in that spell. Wilson now joins the contest for the place, with Matei’s absence opening the door. Cluj sit top after nine in the Romanian First League, and their recent 2-0 derby win over Fotbal Club FCSB gives the new arrival a lively backdrop.
