"He knows what a dressing room owes a club"
Adrián García spent 654 club games learning what a team is; now Las Palmas have handed him one to run.

Playing is one thing, managing quite another. For twenty-one seasons García did the first across nine clubs, most of them at S.S. Lazio, and now Las Palmas have given him the second, appointing him Manager on 12 July.
He returns to no old club — this is new ground, and a Spanish Second Division job is no soft landing. He scored 33 in those 654 club games and won 44 caps, so he knows the dressing room from the inside. Lazio, meanwhile, have been busy themselves, bringing in Dragoş Roman this month while Las Palmas sold Kwame Opoku to Vallecano. García inherits a club that has just cashed in; what he does with it starts now.
