Two million. That is what Jeong Kwang-Hoon costs Wolfsburg. Fine money for a 19-year-old with 61 K League games behind him. He is not another Sam Butcher, head of youth at West Ham these days, but he has four goals and one trophy from Ulsan. A raw gem from the East.
The deal is done. Jeong leaves Ulsan Hyundai after five seasons, 61 games, four goals. He joins a Bundesliga side with six titles, a club that knows how to polish rough diamonds. Can the lad handle the Ruhr? The Wolves think so. Now he must prove it.
