Could any club ever win ten league titles in a row again?
Between 2024/25 and 2033/34 Paris Saint-Germain won Ligue 1 Uber Eats ten seasons running, a run now ended, and the numbers left behind explain both how it was done and why it may not be repeated.

Ten. Not ten points, not ten wins, but ten championships, taken one after another without a single season in between when somebody else lifted the trophy. Paris Saint-Germain won Ligue 1 Uber Eats in 2024/25 and kept winning it through 2033/34, and then the run stopped. It is the plainest sentence in French football and the hardest to take in.
A decade is long enough to change everything around a club. Players arrive and leave, crowds change their habits, the game itself shifts under everyone's feet. What does not change, if a side is built as this one was, is the habit of finishing first. The run ended after 2033/34, which means the last of those titles is now nearly thirty years old, old enough that the people who watched it happen have had to explain it to their children rather than simply remind them of it.
Kylian Mbappé scored 247 league goals across those ten seasons. Henrique Araújo scored 178. Mohamed Salah, in his time there, scored 87, and Dani Olmo 75. Read those four names together and the shape of the decade appears: one man carrying the ordinary weeks, another shouldering the years after him, and two more adding the goals that turned good seasons into won ones. No single forward explains ten titles. But 247 goals is not a decoration on a dynasty; it is part of its machinery.
"You do not win ten by being the best team every year," Araújo said, looking back. "You win ten by being the team that does not fall apart when it is not." That is the part the tables never show: the autumns when the football was heavy, the winters when somebody else was ahead, and the spring afternoons when the title was retrieved anyway. A run of this length is not ten triumphs so much as ten escapes, each one ending in the same place.
What ended after 2033/34 was not only the league run. The Trophée des Champions went six years in a row from 2028/29 to 2033/34 and ended in the same summer, as though the whole structure had been switched off at once. The club's French Cup run of four had already closed after 2017/18, and so had its five Coupe de la Ligue BKT titles, which ended after 2017/18. The pattern of the place has always been to gather trophies in dense clusters and then let them go.
That is why the question in the headline is not rhetorical. Ten consecutive titles had never been done in France before this run, and nothing since 2033/34 has come close. The modern game spreads its trophies around: the money moves, the squads turn over, the challengers learn. Paris Saint-Germain found a way to hold a decade still. Whether anyone can hold another one still is the argument that will occupy the next thirty years, and the answer will be found in the same place it always is — in the spring, with the table tight and somebody refusing to lose.
