Edwards' homecoming: old boy returns to haunt Sunderland
Boreham Wood's Oliver Edwards faces former club Sunderland on Saturday, while the Black Cats look to climb from 16th in League One.

There's nothing quite like an old boy coming home — unless he's wearing the wrong shirt. Oliver Edwards spent seven seasons at Sunderland, making 274 appearances and scoring 22 goals before leaving in 2062. On Saturday he returns with Boreham Wood, and the home crowd won't know whether to cheer or boo.
Sunderland sit 16th in League One with 21 points from 19 games, their form reading LLWWD. Boreham Wood are 12th on 26 points and arrive in fine fettle with WDWDW, though Roy Johnson is out with a damaged foot. The last meeting between these sides ended 1-0 to Sunderland in July 2057. Nicholas Jones, another former Black Cat now at Boreham Wood, will also fancy his chances against his old employers.
