One point separates eleventh-placed Bradford City from twelfth-placed Boreham Wood in Sky Bet League One, and the gap could close or widen on Wednesday night. Boreham Wood have 26 points from 19 games and arrive unbeaten in five, with three wins and two draws. Bradford City have 27 from 18, their form reading win, draw, win, loss, draw.

Boreham Wood will be without Roy Johnson, who has a damaged foot. The last meeting between the clubs, in July 2041, finished 3-2 to Bradford City.

Taylor Gordon returns to Boreham Wood for the first time since leaving in 2062, after 197 appearances and four goals between 2056/57 and 2061/62, a spell that brought a trophy. He will know the ground and the people; the home crowd will know him too. Whatever the result, it will be a strange afternoon for both.

After this, Boreham Wood travel to Sunderland on 1 December, a test that could shape their month.
