Torino and Brescia renew their old grudge
Torino's wastefulness meets Brescia's sharp shooting as the two old rivals scrap for mid-table pride.
"We're not here to make up the numbers," Brescia's Riccardo Santi says, and he means it. Torino sit tenth on 14 points, Brescia eleventh on 13, but the hosts have dropped 4.2 points more than their chances deserved while Brescia have leaked goals from good positions. Something has to give.
Torino are without Rim Teqja and Fabio Bottoni, and several starters are running on empty. Brescia miss Davide Aprile, with Davide Contento and Rodrigo Gonçalves both tired. Torino's 5-2-3 has yielded just 0.88 points a game, while Brescia's 4-4-2 has been sharper. Watch Mariano Aravena against Alessandro Cozzi, and Filippo Morselli's battle with Loïc Baal in the air. Dario Ceglia and Fausto Brenna face their old club. Form says draw; pride says otherwise.
