The ball keeps finding Stuart Musselwhite in the story of Vitesse’s season: not only at the finish, but in the work that opens up a chance. Across 31 Eredivisie games in 2062/63, the 20-year-old Englishman scored nine and supplied seven assists, with a 7.21 rating to match.
Those numbers suggest a forward learning to influence a game beyond the final touch. Vitesse have also seen Michał Zniszczoł leave on loan for Legia Warszawa, a change in the squad as Musselwhite’s next step comes into view. The useful question for the young attacker is how much more of that varied contribution he can bring to the season ahead.
