Danny Ankergren is a Danish left winger and striker whose career has swung between promise and patience. After helping Lyngby Boldklub win the NordicBet Liga in 2054/55, he moved to Getafe, where he won the Spanish Cup in 2058/59 but rarely started. A loan to Chindia Târgovişte and two seasons at Queens Park Rangers followed, with his best form reserved for Denmark: 56 caps and eight goals. In July 2063, he returned home to FC København, still only 27.
